Ingredients
1 Sourdough bread bowl
1/2 cup Bacon cooked crispy and chopped
16 oz Dean’s French Onion Dip
12 oz Mozzarella cheese shredded
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F
While the oven is preheating, prepare your bread bowl by cutting the top off with a small serrated knife, and pulling out the bread from the inside in chunks. You want to leave a 1-2 inch thick shell to hold the dip
In a mixing bowl combine Dean’s French Onion Dip, bacon, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. Mix well to combine
Spoon dip mixture into the bread bowl, and top with remaining shredded cheese.
Bake at 400F for 40-50 minutes or until the dip is warm inside and the top of cheese is melted.
OPTIONAL: Place under broiler for 2-3 minutes to put a nice char on the cheese on top.
Remove when done, and serve hot with pieces of sourdough removed from inside of the bread bowl
