These Cheddar Bacon Corndogs are a guaranteed hit with kids! Even better, this recipe lets you use Dean’s Cheddar Bacon Dip in two delicious ways: in the corndog batter and for dipping.

  • 1 ¼ cups Dean’s Cheddar Bacon Dip
  • 1 package hot dogs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Wooden skewers

In a bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, pepper, eggs and Dean’s Cheddar Bacon Dip. Transfer batter to a tall cup. Stick a skewer in each individual hot dog. Place hot dog in the batter and coat entirely. Fry each side for about 30 seconds or until golden brown. Serve warm and with a tub of Dean’s Cheddar Bacon Dip for extra dipping.
